The Blue Note Bistro: An Evening of Jazz


Presented by the Jazz Bands & Jazz Ensembles of Wheaton North High School


You are cordially invited to the event of the year! The musicians of the Wheaton North jazz program, joined by the Franklin and Monroe Middle School jazz bands will wow you with three hours of lively music. This annual event is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Wheaton North band programs and is a community favorite year after year.

Formerly known as the The Swing of Things, the evening begins with free swing dance lessons from 6-7pm, followed by live music from 7-10pm. There will be numerous auction items available to big on and refreshments will be available for purchase.

The Blue Note Bistro: An Evening of Jazz will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 in The Commons at Wheaton North High School, 701 W. Thomas Rd, Wheaton. All proceeds from ticket sales, auction items, and food sales will benefit all of the Wheaton North band programs.

*Online sales close at 11:59pm on Friday, March 21st. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event the dance is canceled, the WN Band program thanks you for the donation.

Under the direction of Kent Krause, the WNHS band program serves 150 student musicians through three curricular bands and numerous extra-curricular band programs.
