Hello, Marching Band Families! On 7/4/26, the Falcon Marching Band will be participating in the Wheaton 4th of July Parade. This is an incredibly fun event that is a great unofficial kickoff to our season. Please see below for details. The town is hoping we have a large turnout this year. In light of this,I ask that every marching band member who is in town participate in the parade. Please fill out THIS FORM to let us know if you are able to attend.
Wheaton 4th of July Parade Saturday July 4, 2026 8:45 AM Band room doors open at WNHS 9:00 AM Band arrives in their parade attire 9:15 AM Band walks to staging area on Main St. 10:00 AM Parade Begins. 11:00 AM Band concludes parade. Members may load the bus to return to WNHS or go find their families watching the parade.
Parade Attire: Complementary parade tee shirt, shorts and gym shoes. Sunglasses are acceptable. Parade shirts can be picked up at the rehearsal and the day of the parade.
Parade Rehearsal: There will be a rehearsal for the parade on Thursday, July 2nd from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at WWSHS.
Parade Music: Music for the parade can be found HERE.
Instrument Needs: If you are in need of an instrument, please email Mr. Krause. He will be available to check out an instrument to you on Thursday, July 2nd from 4-5PM
