You are cordially invited to an incredible evening of jazz, when The Blue Note Bistro opens for one night only! The musicians of the Wheaton North jazz program, joined by the Franklin and Monroe Middle School jazz bands will wow you with three hours of lively music and entertainment.

Formerly known as the The Swing of Things, the evening begins with free swing dance lessons with Sterba’s DanceSport from 6-7pm in the Wheaton North Commons, followed by live music from 7-10pm. There will be many incredible auction items available to bid on, and refreshments will be available for purchase.

The Blue Note Bistro: An Evening of Jazz will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in The Commons at Wheaton North High School, 701 W. Thomas Rd, Wheaton. This event is one of the band program’s largest fundraisers of the year. All proceeds from ticket sales, auction items, and food sales will benefit the entire Wheaton North band program.

All money raised by this event goes directly to the Wheaton North band programs and allows the Wheaton North Jazz program to remain a no-cost activity, open to all students.

This is a family event and is open to the public.
