Hospitality - Memorial Day Parade Picnic Committee

The FBPO holds a picnic the afternoon following the Marching Band performing in the Memorial Day Parade. The picnic is held at a Wheaton Park District location and all eight grade families are invited to attend as a recruiting event. The committee works with the FBPO to determine the hospitality budget for the event. The committee sets the menu with the director, purchases food and supplies, recruits parent volunteers for help and leads location setup, food preparation, serving lines and cleanup. Extra supplies can either be returned to band storage for future events or returned to the store for a refund. All expenses incurred will be reimbursed by the FBPO after completing an expense report located on the band website with related receipts.
