Fund Raising Committee

Date: July 31, 2017

The fundraising committee explores various methods of raising funds to minimize student fees and purchases required for band operations. Fundraising events must be aligned to CUSD guidelines, approved by the FBPO Officers, the Band Director and reviewed by the Wheaton North Activities Director. The committee is responsible for planning, organizing and executing the events with parent volunteers. Guiding principles include:

  • Reliance on larger events over small selling opportunities.

  • Reduce the burden on students to execute the various events.

  • Focus on communities rather than selling to families already paying fees.


The Fund Raising Committee commitment will be from August 1st 2016 to July 31st 2017.  The committee will meet as needed during the school year.
