Marching band is an extra-curricular outgrowth of the band program. The marching band is comprised of instrumentalists including drumline and colorguard. Marching Band performs at all home football games, the Memorial Day and 4th of July Parades, and several competitions per year. Band Camp (pre-season training), which takes place in August, is where students learn the fundamentals of marching and the competitive and half-time field shows.

What to Expect
The band practices drill and music three times a week after school. We perform at football games at halftime and rally the crowd during the game.We travel four Saturdays to compete against other high schools in marching competitions.
Over the summer music will be posted on the band website in the doc center so you can be prepared by marching band camp to play. Band camp is scheduled for Monday July 29th to Friday August 2nd. Saturday August 17th is the marching band car wash fundraiser.

STEP – 2: Band Fees Online
The fee for the 2019 Season is $400.
The Payment Schedule as follows:
-$100 deposit due at registration
-$150 due on or before 6/21/19
-$150 Final Payment due on or before 7/26/19

NEW THIS YEAR:
-A $100 deposit is required of all marching band members at time of registration. Your deposit will be applied toward your total band fee of $400.
-Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card via the band website.
-If a student has an unpaid balance from the previous year it must be paid in full prior to registering for the 2019 season.
After 6/21/19 $100 of your payment becomes non refundable.
Students will not be allowed to participate in Band Camp the week of 7/29-8/2/19 unless registration is completed prior to the start of camp.

When 2019-2020 CUSD200 registration is available you must register for marching band with your standard classes.
